Founder Jim Baston's experience encompasses 30 years of sales, marketing and operational experience at all levels within the tech products and services sector. Prior to founding BBA, he was a divisional GM within a $100+ million service and contracting company.
Jim holds an MBA from the University of Toronto, and has lectured on marketing management and strategic planning at Seneca College in Toronto. He has an active history in several industry related organizations and is a past Director for the York Region District Board of the Canadian National Institute for the Blind. Jim is currently a member of the Canadian Association of Management Consultants and the Canadian Society for Training and Development.


This profile seeks to focus on John’s more recent experience and project involvement since his role of Head of Business Development with the Sytner Group. He has 25+ years experience at senior manager level with Mercedes Benz UK Ltd and Sytner PLC.
John graduated from the UK’s leading coaching school “The Coaching Academy” attaining a distinction in his studies. The principles and philosophies of the Coaching model underpin most of the work and direction of John’s recent focus. He has also completed 3 Diplomas in NLP.
John has developed his portfolio in the last 4 ½ years working both inside the Retail Motor Industry (RMI) for a number of Prestige Groups and outside with Global Companies and SME’s.
John is working with businesses that are now realising that the traditional “tell” style training and management is limited in effectiveness. Training followed by Coaching is being used in a number of ways to improve business performance and embed newly learned skills impacting the bottom line.
