Founder Jim Baston's experience encompasses 30 years of sales, marketing and operational experience at all levels within the tech products and services sector. Prior to founding BBA, he was a divisional GM within a $100+ million service and contracting company.
Jim holds an MBA from the University of Toronto, and has lectured on marketing management and strategic planning at Seneca College in Toronto. He has an active history in several industry related organizations and is a past Director for the York Region District Board of the Canadian National Institute for the Blind. Jim is currently a member of the Canadian Association of Management Consultants and the Canadian Society for Training and Development.

Founded in 1984, The Achievement Centre provides professional development programs, coaching and strategic planning to large and small companies throughout the world. For over 26 years we have worked with senior individuals and business owners to help them achieve their potential.
During that time, The Achievement Centre developed a reputation for delivering results by focusing on the people side of business. We work primarily through referrals and with long term clients.
While most of its business is with organizations in Canada, it is expanding into new markets including the Middle East and Puerto Rico. There are approximately 40 experts certified in the various products TAC offers. TAC has recently certified 15 people in the PMC assessment and coaching model. The PMC program is an ideal fit with TAC’s coaching philosophies. TAC coaches are already involved in coaching a number of managers using the PMC program.
